Two Years Already!

Hi everyone!  Saturday marked the two year anniversary of my surgery.  My life is so different now.  I am maintaining my 157 pound weight loss and enjoying my life.  I am running my first 5k on Saturday.  I never, ever thought that I would run anywhere!  I am hiking challenge trails, and continue to swing dance every week.  Life is so different at this weight, and I am happier than I have ever been in my life.  I feel complete now, like the last piece of the puzzle has been found and placed.  I am so glad that I took this monumental step and have found good health again.

Congrats!  That is awesome!  I did a 5k and I am not sold on running, but the fact that I finished was a victory enough :)  Perhaps you will love it - there seem to be many runners on here.  I had surgery 3 months after you and I haven't seen you on here in a while but I definitely remember you and I am thrilled you are doing well!

Hi DC!  I remember you as well, and haven't seen you on in a while.  I love running....it is a new hobby for me.  Definitely not for everyone...I guess you just have to find what suits you!  How are you doing?

I am doing well :)  I have found some great workout routines that I love - mostly strength training classes. They keep me focused!  I had a lower body lift and breast lift in March which was AMAZING and I am having my arms done in a month.  After that, I will do my best to avoid surgeries!  Maintenance is proving to be tough but I work at it everyday :)  I am envious you love running!

I had a lift/augmentation in February and abdomnoplasty in June....I feel so much better since those surgeries.  I plan on having my arms and legs done next year.  My surgeon wants me to take a break.  Maintenance is tough, but I'm hanging in there.  I'm glad that you are doing so well...I love hearing from you!
